These hazelnut truffles are rich, chocolatey, and made with just a few simple ingredients. Naturally sweetened with dates, they’re easy to make and perfect when you’re craving something sweet.

150g soft Medjool dates, pitted
100g roasted hazelnuts
20g cocoa powder
12 whole hazelnuts
100g dark chocolate
1 tbsp espresso
Pinch of flaky sea salt
Instructions:

Add the dates, 100g hazelnuts, coffee, and cocoa powder to a food processor or blender and blend until a sticky dough forms - If the dates are dry, soak them in water for 5 minutes before blending.

Divide into 12 portions, press a whole hazelnut into the centre of each and roll into balls.

Freeze for 15–20 minutes

Melt the dark chocolate and dip each truffle in the chocolate and place on a lined tray. (Optional: rougly chop hazelnuts and add them on top, or add a few pieces of sea salt)
